Memorial
LONNIE ALLEN FLOYD was born on July 29, 1947 and joined the Armed Forces while in CHATTANOOGA, TN.
He served as a 73C2P in the Army. In 1 year of service, he attained the rank of SP4/E4. He began a tour of duty on August 17, 1966.
On January 14, 1967, at the age of 19, LONNIE ALLEN FLOYD perished in the service of our country in South Vietnam, Binh Duong. Lonnie was one of twenty-seven who perished that day.

Chattanooga Times, January 23, 1967. Funeral Monday for L. A. Floyd - Football Player was killed Jan. 14 in Vietnam
Funeral services for Spec. 4 Lonnie A. Floyd, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Landon Floyd of 520 Oliver St., who was killed in Vietnam Saturday, Jan. 14, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at White Oak Baptist Church.
The Rev. J. A. Campbell and the Rev. Almon Hawkins will officiate.
Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park with full military honors.
Floyd, an outstanding football player at Chattanooga High School, was a member of C Company, 4th Battalion, 503rd Infantry.
His survivors include his parents; two sisters, Miss Brenda Floyd of Chattanooga and Mrs. Joan Posey of Soddy; two brothers, Richard Floyd and Thomas Floyd, both of Chattanooga.
The body is at the funeral home of J. Avery Bryan Co.
LANCE DAVIS WORKMAN was born on October 4, 1947 and joined the Armed Forces while in CHATTANOOGA, TN.
He served as a 1981 in the Army, and attained the rank of 1LT/O2. He began a tour of duty on April 18, 1971.
On July 11, 1971, at the age of 23, LANCE DAVIS WORKMAN perished in the service of our country in South Vietnam, Quang Tin. Lance was one of six who perished that day.

Funeral services for Army Lt. Lance Davis Workman, 23, who died recently from injuries suffered June 16 in Vietnam, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the graveside in Chattanooga Memorial Park.

Workman, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Workman of 1014 Garnett Ave., was a 1970 ROTC graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was a 1965 graduate of Chattanooga High School and served as the president of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity while attending UTC. He was also a member of the Blue Key honorary fraternity and was president of the Scabbard and Blade Society. He was a member of Northside Presbyterian Church and Hill City Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Gail McGill of Chattanooga, and a niece.
The Rev. David M. Chamberlain will officiate. The pallbearers and military honors at the grave will be furnished by the U.S. Army, Ft. McPherson, Ga. The body will arrive in Chattanooga tonight and will be taken to J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home.
Roberta Green
Chattanooga Times, June 30, 1972. Miss Roberta Ann Greene, 24, of 2616 Frost St., died Thursday in a local hospital. Born in Chattanooga, she was a member of the Chamberlain Avenue Baptist Church. She was a 1965 graduate of Chattanooga High School. She was employed by the Provident Life and Accident Insurance Co. for the past six years. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe H. Greene; two brothers, Sgt. Joe H. Greene III, stationed at Eglin Air Force Base, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Gary Greene, Chattanooga; one sister, Mrs. Paul E. Coley, Chattanooga; grandmother, Mrs. Joe H. Greene, South Pittsburg, Tenn.; one niece, Miss Lisa Renea Greene and one nephew, Joe H. Greene IV. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Chamberlain Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed R. Seanor officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by the Turner Funeral Home.
Melba Pemberton
Chattanooga Times, February 28, 1973. Miss Melba L. Pemberton, 26, 3929 Azalean Drive, died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was a member of the Forest Avenue United Methodist Church and Rainbow Girls. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Frances Pemberton, Chattanooga; father, Donald E. Pemberton, Chattanooga; four sisters, Mrs. Sandra Newell, Mrs. Linda Estes, Miss Donna Pemberton, Miss Vickie Pemberton, all of Chattanooga; two brothers, Michael and Donnie Pemberton, both of Chattanooga; grandmother, Mrs. Sena Raines, Chattanooga; three aunts, Mrs. Virginia Lusk, Chattanooga; Mrs. Robert Lyles, Memphis, Tenn.; and Mrs. Melba Crane, Chattanooga. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the North Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Baker officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to may make contributions to the Hamilton County Tumor Clinic. Nancy Duncan
Chattanooga Times, May 11, 1974. Miss Nancy Susanne Duncan, 3725 Fountain Avenue, Bel Meade Apts., died Friday morning at Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville, Tenn. She was born in Richmond, Ind., the daughter of R. W. and Geneva Bosse Duncan. She was a secretary for Rossville Yarn Co., Rossville, Ga. She was a member of the Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church. Other than her parents, she is survived by one brother, Steven Duncan, Atlanta, Ga., one nephew, several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will held at 3:30 p.m. today at the graveside in Forest Hills Cemetery with the Rev. George Long officiating. Friends who wish may make memorials to Bachman Home. The body is at the Wann Funeral Home, Inc., 400 Tennessee Ave. Active pallbearers will be Bill Agnew, Ken Covey, Milton Daugherty, Jim Fritts, John Smartt, John Welch. Johnny Senters
Chattanooga Times, February 11, 1979. John Senters, 31, Lawyer, is Dead
John Senters, Chattanooga attorney active in politics, died unexpectedly Friday. He was 31.
Senters practiced law here for six years and had served as chairman of the Harrison precinct of Hamilton County. He received a B.S. degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1969 and was a 1973 graduate of the University of Tennessee Law School. He is a member of the American, Tennessee, and Chattanooga Trial Lawyers Associations, and he held membership in the Criminal Law Section of the American Bar Association. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge 752. He was licensed to practice in all state courts and in Tennessee and before the U.S. District Courts of Tennessee.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen S. Senters; three brothers, Spencer, Robert J. and David Senters; and grandmother, Mrs. S. C. Senters, all of Chattanooga.
The family will receive visitors Sunday between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m. and 7 and 9 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Jimmy Hobbs
Chattanooga Times, September 4, 1979. James S. Hobbs, 32, of 614 Nye Circle, died Monday in a local hospital. He was the son of the late Fred L. Hobbs. He was a graduate of Chattanooga High School and attended Tennessee Tech. He served two years in Vietnam and since 1972 had been with TVA. Survivors include his wife, Carol Harden Hobbs; a son, Steven Bradley Hobbs; his mother, Mrs. Helen S. Hobbs; a brother, Harry C. Hobbs of Dalton; and a grandmother, Mrs. Ruby R. Savoy. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the West Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 1724 McCallie Ave. Burial will be in National Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Foundation for Cancer Research, Washington. D.C.
Rodney Daniel
Chattanooga Times, September 10, 1982. Rodney Holt Daniel, 35, of Hixson died Thursday morning at his residence. He was a member and deacon of Hixson First Baptist Church and a 1969 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was employed in the Nuclear Power Division of TVA. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ashford Daniel of Hixson; two daughters, Amy Daniel and Kathryn Daniel; both of Hixson; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dean (Jimmie Lewis) Daniel of Chattanooga; sister, Sheila Lau of Columbus, Ohio. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hixson First Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The body is at eh North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Highway 153; where the family will receive friends 2-5 and 7-9 today. Larry Hughes
Chattanooga Times, December 27, 1986. Michael Lawrence "Larry" Hughes, 39, of Pegram Circle, Fort Oglethorpe, died Friday in a hospital there.
A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was a graduate of Chattanooga High School, Cleveland (Tenn.) State Community College and Baroness Erlanger School of Nursing. A registerd nurse the past 15 years, he was supervisor of the emergency room at Hutcheson Medical Center and Fort Oglethorpe Nursing Home. He received the "Compassionate Care Award" at eh hospital. He was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and Red Bank Lodge 717 F&AM. Survivors include his wife, Celia Wilcox Hart Hughes; daughter, Elizabeth Hart, both of Fort Oglethorpe; two sons, Richard Hart, Harrison, and Christopher Hart, Fort Oglethorpe; brother, Frederick "Rick" Hughes, Jacksonville, Fla.; paternal grandmother, Connie Hughes, Chattanooga; Two grandchildren and two nephews. Jo Ann Sewell Johnson
Thought you might be interested in a little information on a fellow 1965 classmate. I am the son of Jo Ann (Sewell) Johnson. She married Les Johnson (Tyner '64) in 1966. She had my brother in 1972 and myself in 1976. Unfortunately, she passed away from cancer in 1989. Her obituary appeared in the Monday, Nov 6, 1989, edition of the Chattanooga Times. If you would like any additional information, I will be glad to supply.

He graduated from an auctioner school and was employed with Serodino Inc. for 13 years. A member of Union Chapel of Signal Mountain, he was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Watkins Long. Survivors include two sons, Robert S. Long III and Jason E. Long, both of Tracy City, Tenn.; father, Robert S. Long, Sr., Chattanooga; sister, Melinda Trotter, Dalton, Ga.; two brothers, Sim Terry Long II, Athens, Tenn., Michael W. Long, Dayton; several nieces and nephews. Julia Phillips
Chattanooga Times, June 11, 1991. Julia Ann Phillips Grant, 44, of Tomball, Texas, died Sunday in a Houston hospital. A native of Martinsville, Va., she was formerly of Chattanooga and was a graduate of Chattanooga High School. She attended Radford College and graduated cum laude from Sam Houston State University. She was employed by First Interstate Bank, N.A. and was a member of Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Tomball. She was preceded in death by her father, Clair F. Phillips. Survivors include her husband, Lewis H. Grant; daughter, Christine Robin Grant; son, Richard T. Grant; mother, Ethel T. Phillips; brother, Jeffrey T. Phillips; sister, Barbara P. McKerley; one niece, one nephew. Memorial services with the Holy Eucharist will be at 7:30 p.m. CDT today at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Tomball. Burial will be in Louisa, Va. Carolyn Fine
Chattanooga Times, June 25, 1993. Carolyn Fine Trimble, 45, of Ringgold, Ga., died Wednesday in Savannah, Ga. She was a native of Hixson and had lived in Ringgold seven years. She attended Hixson High School, graduated from City High School in 1965 and was attending Dalton School of Health Occupations. She had owned several dance studios and taught dance for 15 years and was a Methodist. Survivors include her husband, Bill Trimble; daughter, Laurie Walter, Atlanta; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph G. Deidre Hughes
Chattanooga Times, February 13, 1998. Deidra Hughes Thrash, 50, of Chattanooga, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in a local hospital. A member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, she was active in the READ Program of the Hamilton County Library, a member of Master Gardener Program and a retired secretary with TVA after 17 years. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Nelson and Delhia McNabb Hughes. Survivors include two sons, Jason thrash, Chattanooga, Gabriel Thrash; sister, Debby Aldridge, harrison; a grandson; several nieces. Services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Kelton Williams officiating. Harold Coe
Harold A. Coe, 54, of Chattanooga died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at his residence.
Mr. Coe was of the Baptist faith and was a native of Chattanooga, but had been a resident of Atlanta for many years before returning to Chattanooga in 1997. He graduated from Chattanooga City High School in 1965 and attended MTSU on a music scholarship. He attended Georgia Tech and retired from the Georgia Tech Bookstore after many years of service in the computer division. Upon his return to Chattanooga, he was affiliated with the Mr. Zip and Golden Gallon Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Power Coe; mother, Evelyn Coe of Chattanooga; sons, David and Kevin Coe, both of Atlanta, and Michael Coe of Alturas, Calif.; stepdaughter, Stacy Hall of Chattanooga; stepson, Terry Power of Dayton, Ohio; brother, Roger Coe of Chattanooga; sisters, Marilyn McDonald of Chattanooga and Linda Lesley of Chickamauga, Ga.; stepgrandson, Clay Hall of Chattanooga.
Memorial services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father Buckley Robbins officiating.

Mr. Don Cronk
Donald Russell Cronk, 68, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at his residence.
He was Baptist by faith and taught school in the Chattanooga City School system for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cronk of Cleveland, Tenn.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran
Survivors include sister and brother-in-law, Marty and Lyman Wood, of Cleveland, Tenn.; one niece, Colleen Wood Peach, of Atlanta, two nephews, Randy Wood, of Cleveland, and Rick Wood, of Ringgold, Ga.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Hamilton Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Lee Peters officiating.

Dr. Charles Kendrick
Charles Austin Kendrick, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2003, in a local hospital.
He was a former teacher and principal at Chattanooga High School and curriculum director for Catoosa County Schools. Dr. Kendrick was a member and life deacon of First Baptist Church of Chattanooga-Golden Gateway. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the board of directors for the Chattanooga Area Schools Federal Credit Union. He is survived by his wife, Lavon C. Kendrick; daughter, Karen and husband, Larry Shuford, of Hickory, N.C.; grandchildren, Katie and Charlie Shuford; brother, Robert E. Kendrick of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today, Feb. 15, 2003, in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Chattanooga-Golden Gateway with Dr. Gary Carver, Dr. Wallace McGill, Rev. Ferd White and Dr. Jack McEwen officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Dr. Kendrick will lie in state at the church from 1:30 p.m. until service time today. Memorials may be made to the Charles A. Mrs. Ella Mae Holland, RN
Ella Mae Harwell Holland passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003. Mrs. Holland was 94. She was the eldest of five children, born April 11, 1908, to the late Franklin Crawford and Alice Lazenby Harwell. Her beloved husband of 71 years, Reuben Wright Holland, died on her 94th birthday.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Crawford Franklin Harwell, Homer Jackson Harwell and Julian Henderson Harwell.
Mrs. Holland was born in Pennington, Ga., graduated from Tignall High School, and earned her degree as a registered nurse in 1929 from Emory University. She spent a short time doing private duty nursing in Atlanta. The Holland family moved to Chattanooga in 1946 after 10 years in Savannah, Ga. During the late 1940s she was active in the PTA at Clara Carpenter Elementary School. She was best known to the students of Chattanooga High School, where she was employed as the school nurse from fall 1954 to spring 1978. She was a faithful member of First-Centenary United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Friendship Class. She also was an active member of the Chattanooga Downtown Lioness Club.
Mrs. Holland is survived by one sister, Georgia (Mrs. G. Warren) Averitte; a son, Dr. Reuben W. (Louann Derthick) Holland Jr. of Knoxville; and two daughters, Helen Holland Garrott of Lookout Mountain and Sally (Mrs. Pat) Dolan of Charlotte, N.C.; six grandchildren will miss their "Granny": Dr. Reuben W. Holland III of Sarasota, Fla., John (Janet) Holland of Knoxville, Ruth Garrott (Mrs. Ronald) Jackson of Rossville, Nancy Garrott (Mrs. Michael) Mele of Casselberry, Fla., Cathy Dolan (Mrs. Raul) Lopez-Ibanez of Charlotte, and J. Patrick Dolan of Atlanta. Also surviving are 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Coulter Chapel with the Rev. David Harr of First-Centenary officiating.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace.

Sara Miller Secor
Prominent Educator Was Historic Preservationist, Civic Volunteer
Sara Miller Secor died Monday, March 17, 2003, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was an artist, educator, historic preservationist and civic volunteer.
After graduating from Chattanooga City High School and attending Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga., for two years, she graduated from the University of Chattanooga with a bachelor of arts degree, majoring in English with the last University of Chattanooga graduating class. She did post-graduate studies in special education.
During 10 years as a special education teacher with the Chattanooga school system, she helped many educationally challenged students develop the skills and job experience they needed to become productive, employed, contributing members of the Chattanooga community.
Many of her students landed employment that paid them far more than the city paid her as a teacher.
Even many years after she retired, her students looked her up to thank her for the education she provided them.
Following her tenure as a teacher, she worked with Landmarks of Chattanooga, the local historical preservation society, first as a volunteer and board member and later as the executive director.
Through her efforts and the leadership of Robert McGuff, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee renovated and restored the former Miller Bros. Department Store building on Seventh Street between Market and Broad streets to its original elegance.
She worked with others in the Fort Wood preservation activities.
As a volunteer with the Chamber of Commerce, she served as chairman of the Area Beautification Committee, during which time the committee determined that the Bachman, McCallie and Stringer's Ridge tunnels belonged to the state of Tennessee. With Sara's leadership and the assistance of Chamber President Ruth Holmberg, the state cleaned up and refurbished the three tunnels.
Sara and Marsha Yessick teamed up to design and launch the annual catering to the Chattanooga Boys Choir event, which is a fund-raiser for scholarships for talented students whose families could not afford the tuition to the Chattanooga Boys Choir.
She was a founding member of the Scenic City Optimist Club and was named Optimist of the Year in 1999. As an Optimist she helped the club raise funds for activities to help young people, including the students at Bethel Bible Village.
Although little known except by her close friends and family, Sara was an accomplished artist. Her friends held a one-women show for her in November 2002. When cancer made it impossible for her to paint in oils, a medium in which she excelled, she turned to acrylics and developed a whole new style.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Ralph Montgomery Miller and Geraldine Henson Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Albert W. Secor; brother, William Henson Miller, and his wife, Xochitl R. Miller, and their two children, Ashley L. Miller and William Henson Miller Jr.; her uncles, Bobby Miller, and his wife, Jo Ann, and W.A. Miller, and his wife, Betty; her aunt, Rosalie M. Goldston; and several cousins.
A celebration of her life festival will be announced at a later date.
A family-only memorial service will be held.

Samuel "Dusty" Brown
Samuel "Dusty" Brown, 59, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Thursday, March 20, 2003.
He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and the owner of Dusty's Bai and Tackle since 1991. Mr. Brown was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Wallace Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Brown; nieces, Tammye Brown Cook, Amy Cliffee, Jennifer Woolsey and Beverly LeBouef; nephews Fray Brown, Jr., Brad Brown, Floyd L. Dean III and Kevin Dean.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm. Sunday in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Richard Floyd officiating.

Richard Grant
Richard Grant, 56, of Ringgold, died Friday, December 19, 2003, in a local hospital. He was a graduate of City High School and the University of Chattanooga. Mr. Grant was a retired infantry officer with the U. S. Army and was past president of the Kiwanis Club of Fort Oglethorpe. He was a former little league coach at Fort Oglethorpe and Boynton. Mr. Grant was a member of the National Council on Aging and project director for Senior Neighbors. He was also a volunteer with the Disaster Relief of the American Red Cross. Survivors are wife, Margaret Grant; sons, Richie (Beth) Grant and Harry Grant, all of Ringgold; daughters, Mary (Kyle) Greene, LaFayette, Pamela Weaver, Fort Oglethorpe; brother, Michael Grant, Chattanooga; grandchildren, Steven Trower and Kayla Weaver; several nieces and nephews. Judith Lynn "Judy" O’Kelley Malek, 56, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2004, in a Knoxville hospital.
She was an honors graduate of Chattanooga High, attended UTK and graduated from UTC. She was very active in the Republican Party.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Stultz, Mrs. and Mrs. G.C. O’Kelley; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James T. O’Kelley ; and a sister, Cynthia Jane O’Kelley.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Malek, Knoxville; sons, Mark Malek, Greeneville, Tenn., and Andrew and Adam Malek, Knoxville; sister, Sidney Acuff, Chattanooga; niece, Cindy Michaluk; nephew, Jim Acuff; aunts, Beryl Vandergriff, Hixson, and Jo Alice Stultz, Graysville, Tenn.; and several cousins.

Richard B. Davenport
CAMPOBELLO, S.C. — Richard B. Davenport, 89, died Monday, June 28, 2004, in Laurel Wood Assisted Living, Columbus, N.C.
Born in Indianapolis, Ind., he was the son of the late John W. and Margaret McCarrtney Davenport. He was the widower of Julia Carico Davenport, who died in 2003. Mr.Davenport served as a master sergeant in the Tennessee National Guard. A graduate of Purdue University, he was captain of the swim and water polo teams and a member of Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity. He was the founder of Chattanooga Swimming League, was a former teacher, coach and principal in Chattanooga for 42 years. In l983 Mr. Davenport was inducted into the Tennessee Hall of Fame for swimming and in 2001 the Chattanooga, Tenn., Hall of Fame. He was a former member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Chattanooga.
Surviving are a daughter, Judith Myers of Highskill, Tenn.; two sons, Cary Davenport of Campobello, S.C., and John Davenport of Washington, D.C. Also surviving are nine grandchildren ; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 1, in Tryon Presbyterian Church, Tryon, N.C.

Paul H. Ferguson, 58, of Hixson, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at his home.
He was retired from the city of Chattanooga and was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Franklin and Mary Schober Ferguson. He is survived by his wife, Connie Turner Ferguson; one daughter, Sherry F. Linkous; one son, Michael D. Ferguson; three grandchildren, Jackson Perry Linkous, Emily Anna Linkous and Mary Katherine Linkous ; several nieces and nephews.

Jeanie worked in the medical field and was a former member of the Ladies Shrine and Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 95.

Denny Curtis Jones, 62, died on Saturday, April 3, 2010.
He was born in Chattanooga to the late Glenn and Mary Jones, and was preceded in death by his aunt, Laurel Pettit.
Denny served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War after that he was an owner/operator truck driver, and an upholsterer for many years. Denny sang tenor for Happy Harmony Quartet and was of the Church of God Faith.
Survivors include his children, Denny Jones II, Anthony Jones, both of Soddy Daisy, Brittany Denae Jones, of Ringgold; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, in the chapel with the Rev. Lebron Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Charles Ray Crocker, 65, died on Monday, May 17, 2010.
A native of Pikeville, he had lived in Chattanooga for most of his life.
He was a Navy veteran, a dedicated worker for TVA, Raccoon Mountain for over 30 years and attended First Baptist Church Golden Gateway. He was a beautiful person who enjoyed working in his flower garden and camping.
He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Crocker; sister, Mary-Anne Newman; and brother, Glenn Crocker.
Survivors include his daughter, Stacey (Joe) Newman; son, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Crocker; mother, Gertrue Crocker; two brothers, Bobby and Jerry Crocker; granddaughter, Rylee Crocker; nephews; good friend and caretaker, Janie Reels.
